Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game 500 Point Tournament

Alpha Games' next Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game event! Will you brave the battle as the plucky hobbits or try to storm the field as a horde of Uruk-Hai? More importantly, will you have a cave troll? 16 players max. This tournament will be using longshanks. https://www.longshanks.org/event/7329/ Once you have a ticket please register in advance of the day Event Details: • 500 Points Army Size Limit • 1 Good or 1 Evil army required, or 1 of each (from Armies of Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit or Legendary Legions) • 4 games at 1 hour 30 minutes game time limit each • Recommended Tournament Style and Scenario Pool System used • 3 Points, 1 Point and 0 Points awarded for wins, draws and losses respectively • Tiebreakers are in the order: Total Victory Point difference, Total Victory Points, strength of field • All newest errata and FAQs to be followed (Including updates to Legendary Legions) • Alliances allowed as per latest Errata (Historical Alliances require Heroes of Fortitude for each segment, whilst any other Alliance must be led by Heroes of Valour or Legend for each part of the alliance) • Legendary Legions are allowed with no alliances. Minimum 4 models and no Tom bombadil or goldberry Army lists do not need to be submitted ahead of time. Please bring copies to show your opponents and so the TO can check them on the day. There is no painting requirement for this event. This is to prevent an advantage from just taking one army. • When a match up involves two players with two armies, both players roll off and the winner picks their army of choice. The opposing player MUST then play with the opposing allegiance army to create a "Good vs Evil" game. • In order to allow everyone a chance to get the newest releases and familiarise themselves with the newest rules, any new system rules and updates, army updates, legendary legions, updated or new profiles released less than a week before the event date will not be permitted. However, models which had "experimental rules" are allowed and must use the point values listed on them.
